Reishi is known as the “mushroom of immortality” in China where it has been used for more than 2000 years. Ganoderma Lucidium is its species name.  It is highly regarded for its adaptogenic and chronic disease fighting capabilities. Reishi has been recognized by the Japanese government as an approved adjunct herb in the treatment of cancer. It has strong immune modulating ability and has been proven to help protect against chemotherapy and radiation. The triterpines in Reishi are also good for hypertension, liver protection, cholesterol, and antioxidant properties. Other uses include fatigue support, hair loss, and bone marrow integrity.

Trametes versicolor
